The Wedding MC is an extremely important part of your wedding reception: if not, the most important.
The Wedding MC is the person that binds all the various components of your reception to deliver a seamless event.
Can I get a relative or friend to MC my reception?
Your reception is one of the biggest investments on your wedding day.
In some cases maybe, however, there is a large amount of experience required to be a successful MC.
If your relative or friend does not have this experience, then you are taking a huge risk.
When will you arrive at the wedding reception?
The Wedding MC will arrive to your reception an hour before your guests are seated.
How long will you stay at my reception?
Most of the time will depend on which package you get. (See Services Page)
How should we enter the reception?
There is no right or wrong way to enter your reception.
The Wedding MC will work your ideas for preferences and/or options.
Should the entire bridal party be announced on entry?
You have many options that are dependent on your family situation and your personal preferences.
Should the parents of the Bride & Groom be announced?
If you wish, of course they can. They may feel uncomfortable making a grand entrance so they often
choose to be seated with the guests.
Will you announce the Bride and Groom as they enter the receptions space?
Yes definitely! It is your celebration and you need to make a grand entrance. It is a way to build
the excitement for the function. Additionally, a little bit of anticipation and delay is a great way to
enhance the excitement, but when it is done with skill and the appropriate delay, it adds impact to the
announcement and your entrance.

Can you make my wedding a casual affair?
Yes, The Wedding MC can make your wedding feel whatever suits your desire.
Is there a deposit needed to secure The Wedding MC?
Yes, there is a non-refundable deposit needed at time of contract. This will secure your date.
When will the remaining balance have to be paid?
The remaining balance will be paid on the day of your wedding reception before it begins.
